Well, our nice days are just about over. Of course anyone who has lived in Northeastern Ohio for a long time, nice days are numbered. Monday will still be the nicest of all the days because we will see temperatures in the low 40s, but as we go through the day we will see more clouds as the next system will be working into our area from the Midwest.
The next storm for Monday night and Tuesday remains tricky to forecast. As it appears from the latest Sunday models, we will see a wide variety of precipitation falling…..again! The precip should begin as a period of rain Monday night. Then as temperatures fall overnight Monday into Tuesday, expect the rain to change to a mix of rain, snow, and freezing rain, changing back to all rain Tuesday mid-morning. Thereafter, Tuesday afternoon when the low passes us with a change in wind direction, the precip will change back to all snow, tapering to snow showers Tuesday night and Wednesday.
While this forecast will have to be monitored to be updated as we get closer to the event. In the meantime, enjoy the weather this Sunday night and the day tomorrow. Stay tuned to WeatherWATCH and your local TV news stations for the latest on this potential storm.
