This week has a very easy weather pattern. Sunny to partly cloudy skies should prevail for the majority if not all of the week ahead. Monday will be the nicest as temperatures will be a comfortable 78 degrees with low humidity. By the end of the week, however, temperatures will be near 90 with much higher humidity. Summer is here – take time to hit the pool this week. The next chance of rain doesn’t come until next weekend.

Back to Tropical Storm
Posted by ns62590 on July 13, 2008
Bertha has weakened to a tropical storm as it remains mostly stationary southeast of Bermuda. The storm is expected to weaken as it moves farther north and into an area of increased shear. However, surf will be higher than normal across the East coast and Bermuda remains under a tropical storm warning. Meanwhile, Bertha now isn’t the only game in town in terms of the tropics. An area of disturbed weather has developed in the Central Atlantic 1550 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. This area may become our next tropical depression this week, I’ll keep you posted.
