Different Week

Last week at this time, we were watching Dolly grow in strength. This week the tropical Atlantic is quiet and void of any threats of development in the near term. The only thing worth mentioning is a tropical wave located in the far eastern Atlantic right off the west coast of Africa south-southeast of the Cape Verde islands. While there is not much in the way of thunderstorm activity associated with the wave, it has a chance to slowly develop over the next week. It is still 6 to 7 days from affecting any land areas if it holds together. Other than this, your plans for vacation in the tropics will be hurricane free!!!
