This weekend will certainly not be what your Friday was, as we will see off and on rain through Saturday, with that precipitation changing to all snow overnight and through Sunday and Monday. We actually may see a few inches of snow by the time it winds down Tuesday. The snow won’t be heavy, but it will cause slippery conditions, so since this is the first “real” snowfall this year, use extra caution when driving late Saturday and into next week. For your Saturday, with the rain will come falling temperatures. As of 8am the temperature was 52 degrees, and that will only get cooler as the day progresses.
Today and tomorrow will be perfect days for heading to Austintown for the 2008 Model Train Open House! The Youngstown Model Railroad Association is sponsoring an open house with two huge model train displays. The club is located on the corner of 4-Mile Run and Raccoon Roads in Austintown. A $3 donation is taken at the door while children under the age of 12 are admitted free. The trains will be running from noon until 6pm both Saturday and Sunday this weekend (Nov 15 & 16)!
