Nice 1st Half of Weekend

As we close out the holiday season, weather for your Friday and Saturday will be very pleasant. However, this cannot be said for Sunday. However, for today and tomorrow we will see partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 30s both days. The next system will spread precipitation into the area Sunday, but we will discuss this in a later post. Have a great Friday and Saturday!!!

I wanted to share a news story that I heard on The Weather Channel this morning. Alaska is having the coldest weather they have had in decades. Fairbanks, AK whose average high is 0 degrees this time of year has been in the -20s and -30s for the past week, and forecast highs over the next 5 days are similar. Just one more city I want to share is Ankorage, AK – whose average highs are near 20 this time of year, have seen highs over the past few weeks around zero; and forecast highs in the next 7 days are between 0 and -10 degrees. Just thought America would like to know this.
