Showers Return

Posted by ns62590 on April 29, 2009

We had a decent Wednesday, but we will return to the rain for Thursday. We will even see the chance of some thunderstorms. A warm front will be located over the Ohio River vicinity and with enough shear in the atmosphere – we may see some severe thunderstorms. We will probably not see anything very widespread, but the risk will be out there. Regardless, we will see some rain with temperatures topping out right around 67 degrees.

Dry Wednesday

Posted by ns62590 on April 28, 2009

We will have a decent Wednesday in the Mahoning Valley – a much more typical day of late April. Partly cloudy skies will be in order and high temperatures will be right about average and top out in the lower 60s. The nice weather won’t be around long however, as the chance of rain and thunderstorms increase again on Thursday and Friday.

Posted by ns62590 on April 27, 2009

After a few days of Summer weather, we will now turn back to Spring for the rest of the week. For your Tuesday, we will see high temperatures still above normal, around 70 degrees. However, we will run the risk of showers and thunderstorms beginning around midday, and running through the afternoon and evening. We probably will not see severe weather, but an isolated strong storm is possible.

Warm Weekend

Posted by ns62590 on April 24, 2009

Friday was just a precursor to what weather this weekend will hold. Saturday will be the warmest day of 2009 thus far, as sunny skies will prevail with temperatures near 84 degrees. Sunday will be a tad cooler as highs will be about 80. We will run the risk of a pop-up thunderstorm on Sunday though, but it won’t be an all day wash-out, if it even happens at all. Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Scattered Showers Again

Posted by ns62590 on April 21, 2009

Tuesday was a day of off and on showers and even a few rumbles of thunder. Wednesday will be more of the same. We will see scattered showers throughout the day. However, just like today – we will not see an all-day washout. Highs will be around 50 degrees for the afternoon, but will begin around 35 for the morning rush. That being said, any precipitation in the morning hours could be a mix with a little snow, but nothing to worry about.

More of the Same

Posted by ns62590 on April 20, 2009

We will clear out a little bit tonight before the next round of rain moves in for your Tuesday. Highs will be in the lower 50s as the off and on rain will be a part of much of the late morning and afternoon/evening hours. We will see more showers Wednesday, but that will set us up for a nice dry spell and looking farther ahead; a weekend of well above average temperatures.
