We have had an absolutely gorgeous week, but that will all change now that a storm system will begin spreading in some Gulf moisture. This will increase the heat and humidity for Friday. The rain should stay away until late tomorrow or Saturday. Friday’s highs will be around 86 degrees with partly to mostly cloudy conditions. Stay tuned for another post later Friday highlighting the potential for severe weather on Saturday.

Another Beautiful Day

Monday will be another gorgeous day for weather here in the Mahoning Valley. Partly cloudy skies and temperatures around 80 degrees will be on the menu again. The majority of this week will be nice and pleasant – with temperatures in the 70s and 80s until the end of the week when highs will be around 86 degrees.

A Little Warmer

Sunday will be the warmest weather we have seen in awhile. Highs will be in the upper 70s, however we probably won’t see a great deal of sunshine. A storm system that will remain well to our south will still spread clouds into the area. So, while we will stay dry, we will see partly to mostly cloudy skies for the majority of your Sunday. Summer returns later in the week…so you people who love the heat – don’t worry, it’s coming!

After a week of weather that resembled more like Fall, we will be heading back to summer for your holiday weekend. For Friday, we will see sunny skies in the afternoon as highs make it into the mid 70s. We will be back around 80 for both days of your holiday weekend!!! ENJOY IT!

One More Day

After the week of off and on rain, we will continue the streak just one more day. Tonight and Thursday we will have the threat of off and on rain. However, as we head into later Friday and your holiday weekend, the threat diminishes – and we will be back to the nice weather. Through the next week, temperatures will stay below normal. We will remain in the upper 60s for Thursday, but into next week, our highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Average highs for Youngstown the first week of July is 80 to 81 degrees.
